Just as I expected and easy to put togetherContrary to other reviews, this is NOT sold as a set of two stools. The chair is nice, had one small imperfection in the veneer. Very easy to assemble. At the tallest height it is not very stable, but is satisfactory at the height of my counter It is also not a chair for wide body or heavier people. The seat pan could be a little deeper for more comfort, but is nice for an average derriere. Very mid century modern, looks classy and upscale. Need to purchase another to complete my set.These are so readily available nowadays that I was worried they'd be or feel cheap and flimsy. I am so happy to be wrong! These stools feel incredibly sturdy and are just perfect with my tiny table in my tiny home. I couldn't be happier with how these look and feel. Though I wouldn't encourage anyone to make a habit of it, I stood on one of these a few days ago to put something away in a cabinet that I couldn't reach, and I weigh over 200 pounds.
